By faith, we believe in God, in all that he has revealed. Faith leads to a total committal. "The righteous shall live by faith" (Rom 1:17). When faith is deprived of hope and love, it does not unite the believer to his fellow man nor make him a living member of the fatihful working towards a better tomorrow.

By hope, we seek a better existence, place our trust in promises, and rely on the guidance of our pursuit for a better tomorrow. We must "hold fast to our confession of hope" (Heb 10:23). Hope responds to the desire for happiness. It sustains man, frees him from discouragement, preserves him from selfishness, and leads to happiness.

Charity is benevolent, disinterested, and generous, bringing forth friendship and communion. We should love everyone, especially our enemies, our neighbors and the poor. Without charity, I am nothing and I gain nothing. Charity purifies and raises human love and consciousness so that we may understand the purpose and practice of giving.
